My worst 330 for the day was a 4.1... If you watch the video you will see that only on the last pass I stayed in it for most the of the pass.. The first pass I lifted after the 1/8th.. 10.8@80... 2nd pass the boost line popped off and made 48-50psi and the clutch slipped... Weird, the motor didnt even flinch @ 50psi .. shitty boxer motor, 3rd pass I lifted at the 1000ft because the car was in the middle of the track.. 10.0@120 and 4th pass I let off at the very end.. It was around 40 degrees out and the track didn't prep because it rained earlier in the day..
The last pass was the worst 1/8th, 60ft, 330 for the day as well.. That is what happens when the track stops hooking..

FYI it slipped a EXEDY TRIPPLE HD.. So you can get a feel for what it makes for HP... I could put a new twin disk in it though, so it can slip right out of the hole

BTW.. I have gone 11.0-11.2@120-122 with 420whp in a full weight STI on pumpgas. On a 100+ degree day cutting 1.53 60fts on 18s
That is 6.9-7.1 1/8ths for you guys that only have a 1.8th track.

See you guys soon!
I didn't see all that from the vid it looked like a slow shifting, missed gears, but the 60 ft looked nice on all the passes. But, after watching it again noticed you let out and i could see the problems you were referring to.

A 1.3-1.5 60ft is really damn good i won't/can't argue that for a minute. But watch the vid Junior and you'll see why i said what i did.

With that MPH you going to shoot for a low-mid 9s?
I think i would've of cut the other passes out or put in a note on the vid so it doesn't makes it look like driver error. lol

Slipped a triple plate WTF...damn. That's like 3k worth of clutch.....

Looks like it's fun...any info on the car anywhere? What kit is it running? Mainly the mani? That thing sounds like pure sex.

Also,
I might have you set up my Hydra's baseline when you get here. I tried and that shit is uber complicated and I know you done a few. Motors not done being built yet, but i need something to break it in on.

Also it's the 2.5 Hydra that you got a WB for not too long ago, lost one in the mail, then had to buy another. Yes that one you sold for a customer to Joey and he sold to me. Still been sitting in the box.

Relax, big guy. Smilies sticking their tongues out are typically used to show satire. Why so serious?

My car? Oh, 13 something, 14 something, I forget. I have one of those Tornados coming in the mail though that go in your intake tube. That should cut it down into the 10's.

They posted the video pretty much complete.. It was for a thread on Nasioc, so the dialogue is all there about the issues with the car going straight.
The car goes quicker to the 1/8th then the 2-3 cars that are goinng 9.3-5 on nasioc. I fully expected the car to go 9.1-2@150 with a clean pass.. The 9.7 was a 1.54 60ft and 6.50@114 1/8th.. The first pass was a 1.37 60ft and 6.20@108 1/8th.. I let off a little before the 1/8th because the car was very loose. So it "should" have gone a 9.2-3 on that pass alone.
Those passes were still on low boost (35-38psi) since I was just trying to dial the tune. I'm working with Evan @ exady to get the clutch issue sorted so I can run 50psi.

Honestly this car and my RS are high on the list to go 8s this season... In full street car trim. My RS fully loaded is 600lbs lighter then the STI and makes roughly the same HP... Maybe a little more

I will help you set it up when I come down. Were is Joe anyway? Did you ever figure out the raping I took on that deal lololol

Low boost @ 38psi....that's classic. lol
I looked on Nabisco i didn't see it i need to peek back in the Built Motor/Power proven forums again.

Yeah it definitely seems it should be in the low 9s at least from the 1/8 mile times and wish you the best of luck man. Damn man......damn is all i can say at that build.....damn.

Ah yes, i heard about that RS. Didn't know it was yours. Someone was saying THESHOPCT was supposed to have a high 8 second RS soon. (was a post in the power proven bragging somewhere)
Definitely can't wait to see that thing in action and that monstrosity of a Subaru with a clutch.

Joe is actually on here...doesn't post as much he got out of Scoobs and just whips a bike now. I heard though yes. My bad man, i wouldn't of bothered with the WB if i knew you had already lost one and sent back cash. You got shafted on that deal a little and it was for a customer too wasn't it? So it's not like you got the trade for yourself. Shitty deal man.

Congrats on times....clean pass or not that fucker is stupid fast and i'm sure you guys at TSCT will hit your goal and get it done.

Im from NJ, but I tune at The Shop CT, in CT..

Those kids are DG are fakes.. I just hate seeing people get fucked, and I know from the cars I have re tuned that all they are doing is playing with the dyno to make the tune look good.

All the car info and pics are in that thread. ..
The car got carbon doors, suspension and a new clutch... So it should be 200lbs lighter and go nice and straight.

I cant wait to get my RS on the street again, its been 1yr this January

PPG Dog Box 6spd
4094 Twin Scroll setup
Cosworth Billet longblock with TurboTrix Sleeves
Garret 4.5" core with custom Turbotrix Ic pipes and endtank.
D2 Drag Suspension
Tilton CC clutch, but switching to the Exedy
Cosi Intake
AEM
Car is also completely 07 STI swapped, dash, suspension, DBW etc..
With 500whp it felt like a 600whp EVO.. I cant wait to see what 750+whp will feel like

As for the hydra, yea.. I took beatings all around. From the aem with bad drivers and sending money back for it anyway, to buying a few wideband sensors.. lollololol.. Fail Boat for sure!

Sweet i subscribed.

Damn dude that RS is going to be sooo nasty. How do you like the PPG 6spd? Thinking about trading my PPG synchro box for a PPG dog 5spd. I won't be driving the car much anymore not like i need synchros any longer. lol

Not just a 40r, the bigger 40-94
Sickness cubed man.

Wow i just read all the DG drama on EVOm.......it's tiring. The costumer has a point and yes the shop is shady, but damn they were some whiners. Complain, complain, complain, and i want a number that's useless in the real world just to boast it on the interweb with no Trap speed or ETs. I want 400 on a stock head/block blah blah blah 400 blah....numbers just numbers blah.

Damn a year is a pretty long time. Mine has been down for like 4 months and i'm getting super antsy already and thinking about taking out a personal line of credit to finish it. ROFL

I'm doing much lighter build, (full build but not-sleeved as its more of a weekend car) but shit is expensive now days and a project car is on the last of the list. lol
